Hi everyone on VJ....I got a notice for my I-130 approval....but USCIS asking me to file I-824, application for action on an approved application or petition, before they send to NVC? I am not sure why I have to file I-824???? can any one please help or guide me on this matter.....Thanks :help:

I did a search on google about the I-824 and came across this press release from USCIS. That probably doesnt help much but I guess its better than nothing.

your profiles says u applied for k3 as well, if so did u get ur i-129f approved

An I-824 is a Application for Further Action on an Approved Application or Petition. So there could be a lot of reason why they ask you to submit this form. Its better to call them and don't waste time.
