For those who have already gone thru the interview, I was wondering if they keep your taxes? I only have the original tax returns my accountant gave me and I am taking those with me to the interview, but I want to make sure they want to look at them and will not keep them.

Anyone know what they do?

08.01.08 National Benefits Center received Evidence and Case resumed Processing

08.19.08 AOS case transferred to CSC

08.22.08 AP arrived in mail-APPROVED

08.25.08 EAD card arrives in mail (no updates or anything about AP or EAD)

In our case they just looked at them and then returned them to us.

But I am not sure if that is the norm at other consulates. If you want to keep the originals make a copy of them and take to the interview. Then they can look at the original and then keep the copy if they want.
