Man Claims He Is Pregnant!

Okay, I've done a little bit of research. Not extensive so this could be inaccurate, but what I've learned is that in order to grow the beard, the transgender has to take testosterone. When the transgender takes testosterone, he no longer ovulates. When he stops taking testosterone, he loses the beard. He could have stopped taking the testosterone to get pregnant as he claims, but then he must have started back again to be bearded during pregnancy.

What I've also learned. Elevated levels of testosterone (natural) in women restrict growth of the fetus.

So, the bearded man who is pregnant is either a hoax or is committing child abuse.

Regarding the OT...so the guy was artifically inseminated? I really don't understand WHAT doctor in their right mind would do that procedure. That quote to Jurassic Park was spot on!

Yeah, I'd totally bring another life into the world at risk of my own health to get in a record book. That makes perfect sense. Maybe that is the type of thing that motivates you but not most adults.

Apparently you know more about this than I do, so I accept that you know what you are talking about and it is possible he is actually pregnant and still has a beard. I never thought hair fell out when you stopped taking testosterone, but what I read is that beards stop growing. According to the article, he has been going through fertility treatments (presumbably hormonal) for some time, and (as supports that) was pregnant with triplets (ectopically.) Now he is 5 months pregnant. That is by my estimate about a year since he would have had to have stopped taking testosterone. Why do transgenders have to keep taking testosterone throughout their lives?

This person is NOT most adults! And all you have to do is pick up a copy of the Guinness Books of World Records to see exactly what people are willing to do to get their name in print. They've lived in caves, grown their finger nails and pierced their body. No I would not do such a thing, but I am not most people either. Nor am I a pregnant man. I am just a person having a hell of a time trying to understand the motivation of a person that would put themselves and the unborn child in this situation.
