Anyone seen the documentary that aired the other day on FRONTLINE (PBS) called Bush's War?

In Chapter Five: Cheney's Secret Plan for Handling Detainees-around the time 6:30 in this clip they discuss how the CIA uses Egyptians to torture detainees.

Have they switched from Syria to Egypt now then? or are they still using Syria?

I was just curious! They may be using both. Syria used to be used occasionally by a variety of countries. They would hand over people for "custody." Ok, I'll stop hijacking your thread! :ot2:

Im sure we will be learning all sorts of scary tidbits as the years go on.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Really Syria? I didn't know that. I hope some people get to watch the documentary because it's pretty well done. And produced by a U of I alum, Mike Kirk, but I'm throwing my gang signs now. :P
