So today is one of those days.....we both seem so down and just want one another so badly....we talk daily on computer, over mics, through web cams etc.....somedays it just is not enough :(

We have not seen one another since May 2007. Gonna be over a year since we have seen one another by time he gets here....for those who read one of my intros around here we won't visit one another now until all is clear since well he spent 14 hours in a jail cell when he attempted to come here in December since they thought we were gonna try to get married on wrong visa!

So I know many have waited soo much longer but it is just one of them days today :crying:

I just want to be held in his arms.....SIGH

I feel for you. your situation makes me feel a little guilty. I see my baby usually every 2 or 3 weeks as i live in canada and lives in usa we are only an hour flight away. I was just there for easter and came back on monday but this week has been miserable for me its always so hard when you leave even though i know we will be together again in a few weeks. I hear your story and realize i really have nothing to complain about. GOOD LUCK

awww i'm sorry it's a tough day for you ***hugs*** boy, we know how that feels! :(

I didn't read your intro yet but my man was detained (umm not in jail tho..what's up with that?! ) in September and denied entry too. Of course we were pretty much living together all over the world for a couple years before that. ;) I did get to see him for 3 weeks in Jan/Feb though.

No way you can plan a trip there???

*hugs* It really is hard. Webcams can make it worse as you can see the other person and feel like you should be able to reach out and touch them - but you can't! I really, really miss the physical intimacy and I hate that I've forgotten how his kisses and hugs feel. :(

I had an 11 month separation last year and I'm facing another probable 11 month separation this year - certainly not as bad as some but still much longer than I'd originally hoped! I'll cross my fingers and wish you plenty of luck for a swift approval so that you don't have too much longer to wait.

Thank you all so much. I know many are in the same boat. Cannot go visit him (although sure have considered it!) as there are several reasons for preventing this. 1.Money....we need it just for this whole process etc... 2. I have a 5 year old daughter that is in school and no one to take care of her for a week or longer and 3. I do not have any vacation time to take since I have used it all to be home with my daughter when she has been ill this winter! :(

We are just really hoping and praying he is here by our Sept wedding...told him I am gonna have the wedding with or without him (tee hee).

Oh and reason he was in jail is he got all the way to Detroit on 6 month visa....he had goodbye cards from his work etc...so they questioned him for 4 hours including calls to me. Then at that point it was too late to get him on return flight to London, they could not put him in hotel since he had not legally cleared customs and that would be US property....so he got put in a cell by himself where the guards joked about "feeding the alien" beef jerky.....yeah Detroit made a great impression on him.......

Sooooo now are we not only scared he is just plain terrified of the same thing happening all over again! I told him there should hopefully be NO way that would happen again since they thought we were gonna get married before and well now we are gonna get married and have all legal documentation to prove it is ok! So here's hoping the rest of our journey to be together goes smooth!!!!

Just so hard to stay positive some days....but yes we truly believe we are soul mates and have never felt this strongly about anyone before, and I would do it all again as long as it results in us being together in the end!

Thanks again for the support!!!

It can be very hard... Kris and I saw each other last in December... thing is.. we couldn't 'be' a couple then because i was still going through my divorce..... so in all reality.. our time to be 'us' wont happen till he gets here for good. It sucks.. though, yes vent server to hear each other and cams help yet make it hard as well. That and the damn time zone difference makes it just as difficult.

But... I look at it that nothing in life that is worth having is ever easy. I've had rough times.. lived through hell in my previous marraige... but without the tough times.. we wouldn't become the people we are nor find the connection with the one we love.

Oh yes I was still married when we first got together as well.....I had convinced my now ex to let me stay so daughter could finish up the school year and well he messed around while I was still there so then my and my friend became best friends then found out we were soul mates! All happens for a reason I believe!!!
