I don't care what anyone says, I thought the Stones were really good last night! I envy you, MrMrsKnight! This is probably your very last chance to see the Rolling Stones Live. Oh pleeeeeeeeease take pics and share them here, I can live vicariously thru you! hahaha

I am a big BIG fan of the Stones, guess it shows, eh? As someone here said, they have stood the test of time. Of course they aren't like they were 25 years ago, they're 60 year old men now, for crying out loud! I agree with Cassie about seeing Jagger gyrate like that tho haha but hey! How many 60 year old men do YOU know who can actually still even DO that?

You wanna say someone's performance was atrocious last night? Try Aaaron Neville's rendition of the national anthem! :bonk: OMG I lamost felt bad for him! Thank God Aretha put him out of his misery....lol. Hell I think Roseanne Barr's controversial singing of the anthem was still better than Neville's. Bad sound system or not.

Long live The Rolling Stones!! A hey hey HEY!

They sucked.

Yes. they did. The sound quality was bad.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

The sound quality of these live shows is always awful because they don't have time to do a good mix.

When they play live and the sound system is set up properly they are AWESOME - saw them at PacBell park in San Francisco.

My dad thinks they suck. His opinion was formed when he saw them play the infamous Hyde Park gig many moons ago. He also has one of Jimi Hendrix's broken guitar strings that he grabbed at a gig once...(which has nothing to do with the Stones, it's just a fun thing to share).

I agree that they could have shortened a couple of the songs (where was the Jumpin Jack Flash?!!?!?!) but all in all it was better than the ####### they usually have.

Don't get me started on Aaron 'worst national anthem singer ever' Neville and Aretha 'pass me another chicken wing' Franklin. That was just atrocious. My Grandma could have sung it better than that, and she's deaf.

EEEEEK....I know... :help::wacko::crying:

The Stones were alright...The best part was the montage of images showing them getting older with the pics of past Super Bowls...gotta admire that they could have been the half time entertainment at Super Bowl 1.

The song selection was terrible. I just hated it. The whole pre show was strange....john legend was the best part of it IMHO

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Thought that was funny since people have been saying that for about 20 years now....

I also heard they had a 5 second delay which was needed since mic made references to his ####### in a couple of songs...thats a no-no on international family television........!

I also thought that the sound sucked, you couldnt hear the drummer, or the guitarists during a solo, or even mic some of the times!

so to sum up...ive seen better!

I aint cool enough for a signature.....

I thought Aretha and Aaron sucked. I heard her on some show complaining they were not using Motown stars so I guess she got her way.

I thought the Stones really sucked. I never got why they are so big.
