Indeed they di, I never have gotten the attraction. I like a few of their records. But Live? Sometimes the bluesy guitar work of Kieth Richards if exceptional but then Mick opens his big yapper and... Well, what do you expect.. too stoned in the 70's, too boring in the 80's washed up in the 90's and #######? the 2000's?

Ill tell you one thing though, as 1/2 time shows go.. this was a good one.

i agree, they just came to the Qwest center at 100 bucks a ticket. to me its just not worth it. but i do like some of there songs. its not that i hate the band

I think they stretched Satisfaction out a bit. Could have shortened it and played another. Stones are time tested. How many bands around now will be around in 5 years let alone 40. Stones will still be rock'n when 50 cent is working at the car wash.

i have to say.. I wasn't impressed at all with the stones.. yes they have good songs.. recorded.. but i was a little bit dissapointed with mick's live voice..

lol.. hey 50 cent has a lot of bling.. i dunno if he'll be working in a carwash, or managing a full chain.. but.. its true.. the stones have stood the test of time..

The mix was appalling, but then it's always hard to mix in an open space like that.

As far as the band themselves, I'm staying out of it since I've never been a Stones fan!

I like the Stones and admire their tenacity not only to still be working together but still be a viable band for a big venue.

However, whoever was in charge of the sound should be fired.

At least this year there was no chance of major "wardrobe malfunction." I fear whatever would have been popping out of that crew...
