Dose the birthcertifcate when translated need to be certified? If he takes it to the forgne ministries to get a translation. Dose he need to take it to the american embassy for it to be certified?

Is this for the I-485 application?

You can translate it yourself, word for word, and then add a "Certificate of Accuracy" stating that you have good knowlege of both languages and that you have tranlated the document to the best of your knowlege.

I have attached the Cert. of Accuracy that we used so you can just follow that as a guide line.

I would suggest letting him take it to the minister to translate....this is just safer . The ministry will stamp it as official. Better to be safe than sorry. My hubby is from Egypt and thats what we did. The Embassy doesnt need to certify it.Good Luck. InshaAllah everything works out.

Salam

he can send it to any translation office to translate it and they will certificate it for him

but if you talking about English version of the birth certificate he should go to the ministry of health to get the English version then stamp it from the ministry of foreign .

nope you don't have to stamp it from the USA embassy

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Oops, I just realized that you do need to have the Certificate of Accuracy notarized (basicaly just you swearing to what you wrote), but doing this is usualy going to be must cheaper than paying for professional translation.

I am from Serbia and personally, I sent my birth certificate to Serbian consulate in Chicago. They do translation services, so they translated it and stamped it. I believe that this was the most secure way to do it, although my application is still being processed so I can't guarantee that my move was indeed good.

everything needs to be certified just to make sure everything is legal :)

We had a professional translator translate my husband's BC years ago in Brazil - before we applied for the K1. We sent that copy with the I-129F and then again with our AOS packet. There was a certificate of accuracy at the end of the translation, where the translator signed - that's it.

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship
