My fiancee went to the German Embassy to pick up her police clearance and found that they had spelled her name wrong!!!!!!!!! So she had to have the embassy send her police clearance back to get it fixed!!!! The lady at the embassy said that it should not take more then a month!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know if and how this will effect the process? How long does it take from when she finally has all the paper work, including the police certificate, and lets the embassy know til she gets her interview date? I guess we shouldnt be too concerned since this is the first snag we have hit in this process, but it is still frustrating
