Hi

My fiance and I are getting married on Sunday. His I94 is due to expire on April 13th

We have the whole AOS packet ready to send but realized he has to have his medical done

We thought that it could be done before the interview. he has an appointment to do the HIV

and Syphilis test done today with my DR. He cannot get his records from his Doctor for a week or so

DO any of you know if he can get the others done again mmr , chicken pox and tetanus

while he is there today so we can hopefully get all tests and exam done before he is out of status

or should we send it the packet without the 693 and send it in separate after it is completed

I am nervous about not sending in the AOS before his I94 expires??

Thanks sooo much

David and I met online December of 2006 and spent a year getting to know each other online and with visits! He proposed to me July 2007 onstage at my Favorite bands (candlebox) concert in Florida .We found out we were expecting a child January 31st sadly due to an ectopic pregnancy we lost the baby and almost lost me as well on February 8th. We then decided to get married if my long and drawn out divorce finalized before David was due to go back on April 13th

Divorced finalized March 20th

3/30/2008 MARRIED !!!!

4/11/2008 I 130 , I 485, 1765 and I131 Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

Ok...silly question time - he's here, you're getting married this weekend and you're filing AOS (or about to). Your timeline indicates filing for a K1 yet he hasn't taken a medical yet? Confusing since that would have to have been completed before the visa was issued. Is there a mistake in your timeline?

We do need to change the timeline and will do so shortly. Sorry for the confusion.

Just a reminder that the medical exam that was taken to get the K1 visa is valid for 1 yr. So you may not have to get everything re-done. You just need the I-693a, the vaccination supplement, not a whole new medical exam.

as far as i understand it you guys didnt file for a k1 visa right? he is here on a 90 days visa, correct?

so that means he will need to get a medical examination by a civil surgeon that is registered with uscis. im guessing that the doctor he is seeing today is not registered with uscis? if so, uscis wont accept the results form this doctor. he definately needs to see a regsitered civil surgeon to get the required medical.

i dont really know who it works with the normal 90 day visas, but i didnt have to file for aos before my I94 expired. i just had to get married within 90 days, i had a k1 visa.
