I received the email overnight that my I-751 was approved and my unconditional 10yr green card is being produced !!... YAY !! :dance: :dance: :dance:

SOOOOO Glad to hear that we're done with the USCIS until we get the money together for naturalization.

Best of luck and speedy processing for all of you still waiting for your removal of conditions to be completed.

Timeline Summary

11/30/2007 - I-751 Mailed to Nebraska

12/28/2007 - NOA Received (application has been forwarded to California)

01/09/2008 - Biometrics taken in St. Louis

03/27/2008 - I-751 Approved, 10 Yr Greencard in the mail !!

12/20/2016 - N-400 mailed to Phoenix lockbox

01/17/2017 - NOA Received

01/25/2017 - Attended biometrics in St. Louis

09/29/2017 - Received I-797C notice dated 09/27/17.  Interview Scheduled for November 6th @ 8am

11/06/2017 - N400 interview in St. Louis.  Approved !!:jest:

02/05/2018 - Notice of Oath Ceremony date received.  March 1st, 2018 @ 8.30am

I am still stuck in Nebraska's Black Hole....what's new?? Their processing times have gone backwards from February 2007 to July 2006, so at this rate I'll have to wait another freaking year!!! You gotta love NSC :whistle:

December 7th----NOA2 online

December 14-----NOA2 Hard Copy

December 21-----NVC recieved

December 28-----NVC send to US embassy in Ethiopia

January 8---------US embassy in Ethiopia will recieve

January 11--------Packet 3

February 7 -------Interview

February 7 -------Passed interview

February 12------VISA in hand

February 22------IN the USA

March 1-----------Wedding

March 15----------Sent AOS

July 7 -------------Finger Print

January 27, 2009--Green card approved without interview. It took almost one year though.

Feb 2 -------------Got the green card in the mail

Next: playing the waiting game for the 2 years holding removal

What the hell !!... this crazy system will never make any sense to me. How did you not get sent to California like so many other I-751's filed in Nebraska ?

I'm sorry to hear that you're still waiting but hopefully you will be done soon.

Thanks to everyone else for their congratulations. I'm just very relieved that this step went smoothly and pretty quickly.

Congratulations!

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Great news Mark, congratulations! Are you going to go for citizenship this year?

I won't be eligible for citizenship until January of next year (LPR status granted Jan 2006) but to be honest my aim is to have that all completed by the next election. It's so bloody expensive that I'll have to get saving to afford the filing fee anyway !!

Poor old Jen has fallen into the black hole again - they must like her in Nebraska and want to keep her there! LOL

Poor old Jen indeed... I figured they were all done but Nebraska certainly has a strong hold on her file. Hopefully they will be set free soon !!
