ok, it may be silly, but what I'm saying is that whites DO celebrate the accomplishments of other whites. It is just more noticeable to have a Black history month, when the white celebrations are celebrated across the entire calendar. There is also Hispanic history month in September.

What white celebrations?

The only holidays I have are

New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as

Martin Luther King, Jr Day ("black") and Columbus Day ("white")

Seems pretty balanced to me.

columbus day may well fall into a brown category, since he was bankrolled by spain.

I'm just glad he wasn't British, otherwise we'd have 9 Federal Holidays instead of 10.

I think Don Imus was attacked the same way I was attacked in the other thread. Where because his statement sounded racist people automatically assumed and labeled it as being was racist. Sadly a growing attitude, in America, which opposes the basis of most free and developed societies. Opposes the constitution. It seems reasonable doubt no longer applies.

Look at what happened in the Duke Lacrosse case where these kids reputations was ruined yet no apology was given for the mistake. Jesse Jackson is first to condemn but last to apologize for his mistakes.

Interesting to bring in historical context and basically justify it yet also mention the high incarceration rates of black Americans. The same rules need to apply for everyone period. Affirmative action, for that reason, has to go. Equality is only achieved with all things being equal.

There are stupid people everywhere. There were many reasons why Nazi Germany was 'allowed' to run it's course. One of the many reasons was because some Germans didn't realise what National Socialism really was. They believed the propaganda. That is a form of stupidity. It's not something that is confined to Germans, it's something that is available to every race and creed. Seems like I am witnessing a little today.

I don't think anyone is justifying the Aryan Guards views but it also is not right that an equivalent black group would be simply brushed off. And in America it does happen because any Caucasian is made to feel guilty. Both directly and indirectly for the past.

I don't choose to conclude that white pride is another word for racism. I am forced to that conclusion due to facts and the ABSENCE OF ANY EVIDENCE THAT IT COULD MEAN ANYTHING ELSE. The terms "Aryan Guard" and "The Final Solution" are little clues you know?

I think that perhaps what we should assess is not being made to feel guilty but rather be reminded of our past every time someone that has no knowledge of it makes quite the insensitive remark. Its called having consideration for those that are not in the same shoes as "we."
