Its a big city in the middle of a Canadian province I'd rather not be at the moment.

That Canadian province is called Alberta. Two major cities there are Calgary and Edmonton, with the latter being the capital. I've been to both and with the exception of the many different festivals that occur in Edmonton and the Calgary Stampede (although I've not been to that one), neither city is particularly remarkable. To be fair, most cities don't really stand out in North America. There's only a handful of them that tend to immediately grab people's attention.

Now look at Detroit. What a shitwhole. Time to start holding people responsible..

Although I've never been there, from the Canadians I've spoken to -- including my wife -- the differences between Detroit and Windsor are minimal, at best.

My wife and I met in Windsor. I visited there more than a half a dozen times, spending many days at a time. I drove around Windsor a lot.

It is nothing like Detroit. It's blue collar, appears economically depressed, but there is no serious crime problem. At least not back in 2004. The lack of serious crime alone is a huge differentiator when compared with Detroit. Detroit is a freaking war zone.

P.S. If you can find a "White Pride" movement that isn't along the ideological/political lines of the Aryan Guard or The Final Solution - I'll be interested to know.
