Don't bring your Californian-Filin' Crying A** to me!!! lmao!!! I would gouge out my left eye-ball with a spoon to be with that service centre. Ok, maybe that was a bit extreme & violent, but you get the point! :hehe:

12th April 08 - Married in Australia

21st April 08 - Mailed off I-130 but with incorrect title on cheques

30th April 08 - USCIS returned petitions requesting correct title on cheques

2nd May 08 - Mailed out I-130s again! Finally on our way!!!

9th May 08 - NOA-1

7th Nov 08 - Tranferred to CSC

4th Dec 08 - Approved!!!

22nd Dec 08 - NVC # assigned

23rd June 09 - Case Complete at NVC (We slowed down the process on purpose to time interview accordingly)

18th August 09 - Medical

25th August 09 - Interview Date - Approved!!!

19th February 10 - POE L.A (No dramas, just SLOW)

2nd March 10 - Welcome to America Letter

lol... just a touch violent but i understand what you're saying,... but it doesn't help if you never get approved where you are...but I understand :star:

In 6 months CSC people will be saying the same thing about the VSC people. It goes in cycles. Last year CSC was the slow one. It sux waiting for someone else to make decisions about your future. We have very little control.

Our case got approved 07/23/08. Sorry CSC ;)

CR-1 Visa

I-130 Sent : 2006-08-30

I-130 NOA1 : 2006-09-12

I-130 Approved : 2007-01-17

NVC Received : 2007-02-05

Consulate Received : 2007-06-09

Interview Date : 2007-08-16 Case sent back to USCIS

NOA case received by CSC: 2007-12-19

Receive NOIR: 2009-05-04

Sent Rebuttal: 2009-05-19

NOA rebuttal entered: 2009-06-05

Case sent back to NVC for processing: 2009-08-27

Consulate sends DS-230: 2009-11-23

Interview: 2010-02-05 result Green sheet for updated I864 and photos submit 2010-03-05

APPROVED visa pick up 2010-03-12

POE: 2010-04-20 =)

GC received: 2010-05-05

It is his job not to give you too much information? <g> He works for you. Let him know that in no uncertain terms. And if he's not respectful of the client, he can find himself not working for you. Sometimes people, contractors of any sort, need to be reminded of that. Don't be shy about reminding him. Your money. Your life. Not his.

My husband asked him then he said that the I-129f was sent shortly upon the receipt of NOA1. He never mentioned the date and I am so irritated. Till now we are so clueless the fact that we received NOA1 of I-130 few days after it has been sent. What happened to the other one (I-129f)? Nobody knows....

Can't he understand that I need the exact date? He will receive another call from us today. I need a specific answers to my questions. :angry:

If your husband a philegmatic Mr Nice Guy like mine, they don't ask direct and confrontational questions like "when EXACTLY did you mail the I-129F and did you receive any NOA for it?"

I can understand exactly the specific answer to specific question part. :-)

I know my husband would start making friends with USCIS reps instead of asking them questions if he didn't have a script prepared for him. May be you should get the lawyer's telephone number or email, and contact him on your own.

08/28 Submitted civil docs & paid $400 IV fee. Visa Interview & approved !!!

08/29 Visa in hand

09/30 POE IR1 visa interview took 166 days from the I-130 filing date (expedited).

10/04 Applied for SSN in married name.

11/11 Welcome notice received (dated 11/04)

11/15 Received Green card.

11/21 2nd Welcome notice received (dated 11/13)

11/24 Received SS card in maiden name.

Yes, he is (Mr. So Very Nice Guy).. :) I knew the e-mail address of the lawyer but sometimes he is not even replying (husbie says he might be busy) :unsure: . Anyway, husbie will get the answers (specific) from him today (after my tantrums last night :P ). Thanks Leah..

02-08-2008- CSC receives I-130

02-11-2008- Received Hardcopy NOA1

08-14-2008- Approved!!! 216 days...

08-21-2008- NOA2 Hardcopy received

08-27-2008- NVC Receives file, NVC Case Number issued

09-05-2008- AOS Fee Bill and DS-3032 Generated

09-06-2008- E-mailed DS-3032 to NVC

09-11-2008- Received Hardcopy of DS-3032 and AOS Fee Bill

09-15-2008- Mailed Hardcopy of DS-3032

09-16-2008- Paid $70 AOS fee online

09-17-2008- Received E-mail confirming the DS-3032 Agent

Feb 22 2008 - CSC returned application re: check lost ( actually when he changed new envelope, the check was left in the old envelope :P)

Feb 23 2008 - re sent I 129 application

March 6 2008 - NOA1 by Postal Mail

July 23 2008 - Touched and Petition Approved / sent to NVC

Aug 19 & 20 - Medical Tests @ St Lukes Extension Clinic - PASSED!!!

Aug 26 - Visa Interview ..... PINK SLIP oh GOD thank you so much!

Sept 2 - VISA Packet Delivered !!!

Sept 26 - Cebu - Manila - (POE) San Francisco - St Paul/ Minneapolis, Minnesota

Nov 15 - Our Wedding Day!

NVC Timeline:

7/25 : Case # assigned

9/30 : Case completed!!!! (THANK YOU, LORD!!!)

10/03: Interview date assigned

US Embassy in Manila:

10/30 : Paid Document Verification (just to be on the safe side)

11/12 - 11/13 : Medical at SLEC

11/18: INTERVIEW DATE/MANILA EMBASSY/0630AM - VISA APPROVED!

11/20 : Visa in hand! (that was fast!)

11/30 : Flight to USA!

Life in America:

11/30 : POE:LAX

12/04 : SSN issued - 12/13: card received in the mail

12/04 : "Green Card" issued - 12/13: card received in the mail

NOVEMBER 30, 2010 : CR1 expires
