Just as I was feeling bad that a couple people behind me got approved already, I got this email:

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

03-05-2007 Met Jan online

07-05-2007 Flew to the Philippines to meet Jan

10-02-2007 2nd trip to the P.I.

10-04-2007 Obtained "Legal Capacity to Marry" document at the US Embassy in Manila

10-05-2007 Talked to Jan's father about my intentions

10-05-2007 Proposed to Jan

10-08-2007 Applied for marriage license

10-13-2007 Talked to Pastor at St Stephen's Lutheran Church in Baguio

12-22-2007 Our wedding day

04-01-2008 I-130 package sent

04-03-2008 4th trip to the P.I.

04-14-2008 NOA1 received

07-17-2008 NOA2 email received

07-22-2008 NVC Case# generated

07-28-2008 AOS fee paid

07-31-2008 5th trip to the P.I.

08-11-2008 Choice of agent form sent

08-15-2008 Jan attends CFO seminar

06/28/08 Received NOA2 hardcopy: NO RFE FROM USCIS:101 days

NVC Journey

07/01/08 NVC case# assigned

08/14/08 CASE COMPLETE: NO RFE FROM NVC:44 days

09/15/08 Interview date assigned

Embassy Journey

10/01/08 Case at embassy

10/08/08 Document verification and got interviewed (Approved)

10/09/08 Pick up visa (original interview date)

10/18/08 P.O.E ~ Seattle

Removing Conditions

07/23/2010 Mail off I-751(USCIS received on 07/26 via usps)

07/26/2010 NOA1 date (notice received 8/2/2010)

07/28/2010 Check cashed

08/20/2010 Biometrics appt.(notice received 8/7/2010)

08/20,21,23 touched

10/22/2010 Approved NO RFE(2 months and 3 weeks from filing date)

Citizenship

10/7/11 N-400 Submitted

10/13/11 NOA date

10/20/11 appt letter sent for biometrics

11/9/11 Biometrics appt

11/11/11 Email of interview scheduling received

11/14/11 Interview scheduled and mail sent

11/21/11 Interview letter received

12/19/11 Interview date

12/19/11 passed interview and oath Finally a citizen(2 months 1 week and 5 days from sending N-400)

CaNdiD wiTch, as I mentioned in my previous post, I can't add you until you confirm your service centre. At the moment you have Texas but in the case of an IR1/CR1 visa, its either going to be Cali or Vermont. Hang tight, your hardcopy should be in the mail soon & then you can let me know.

Congrats Allan_D- you are so lucky to be going through Cali.

12th April 08 - Married in Australia

21st April 08 - Mailed off I-130 but with incorrect title on cheques

30th April 08 - USCIS returned petitions requesting correct title on cheques

2nd May 08 - Mailed out I-130s again! Finally on our way!!!

9th May 08 - NOA-1

7th Nov 08 - Tranferred to CSC

4th Dec 08 - Approved!!!

22nd Dec 08 - NVC # assigned

23rd June 09 - Case Complete at NVC (We slowed down the process on purpose to time interview accordingly)

18th August 09 - Medical

25th August 09 - Interview Date - Approved!!!

19th February 10 - POE L.A (No dramas, just SLOW)

2nd March 10 - Welcome to America Letter

CaNdiD wiTch, as I mentioned in my previous post, I can't add you until you confirm your service centre. At the moment you have Texas but in the case of an IR1/CR1 visa, its either going to be Cali or Vermont. Hang tight, your hardcopy should be in the mail soon & then you can let me know.

I am switchin to CR1 now.... my husband can't leave the country he is working until after Dec... the CR1 is better anyway so.. going to CR1 and not k3 .

Have they updated the time line yet on USCIS Site??

It definitely is the better way to go. Please change the status of your visa/timeline so that I can add your details to the spreadsheet. I am also waiting for CaNdid wiTch to confirm her service centre. For the meantime, I have added Richard and Aida

did that and it says the vj time line for adjutication is Oct 7 to Oct 27th ,,, keeping my fingers crossed on that one.

DONE - thanks for keeping me up-to-date. I was surprised to see a couple of Vermont approvals & so close to my name on the list too :rolleyes:

Thanks a lot. And thanks to July 4th holiday, saturday and sunday so our paper reached Chicago 7th.,. :bonk: Anyway, USCIS compensated us with a 4 day approval upon receiving it. :P Good luck to all of us.. Hope the timeline estimate in VJ is right.. I am keeping my fingers cross.. :innocent:
