My fiance is at St Lukes right now for the second time to pick up the results or get a vaccinations shot. He has to wait until 2:30pm because they need a second opinion for the xray. Anyone had this problem. They had to redo his first xray because they said it was too blury... Now he has to wait to get a second opinion. I'm sooo nervous I hope everything is okay. Please help..

Jesus please help us.

Hi :)

Think it will be okay.. I also experienced that, they said I need to do x-ray again that same day. So, I go up and down through the elevator since I heard my name called to different floor.

I felt nervous too since it was me there the second time wherein the x-ray was done. Everything went fine after that, the thing is I need to pay extra for another x-ray.

Hope your fiancee comes out fine. Good luck!

How long did you have to wait for the xray results?

NEITHER... They repeat all X-rays if they saw something different on the film. The second X-ray is on a different view of the lungs to make sure that they are ok.

Ummm....No.... :bonk: Feeling a bit bold today again, I see.... As you guys have been around here a long time like me, you no doubt know that there are plenty of posts here discussing complaints regarding the quality of the xrays taken at SLEC. Sure, there are legitimate times when a well taken xray on well maintained exquiment needs to be repeated. But the incidence of second and third shots at SLEC is way over that water mark. In addition, as many others have observed, we are paying for a TB screen - NOT an XRAY. It is SLEC's chice to use XRAY as the screening device. If they determine they need 1 or 2 or 3 XRays in order to complete their screen, then that's on them and should be covered by the (now outrageous) $180 fee.

Warm Regards,

Samby (10 year Hospital XRAY Tech!)

Hey David & Mae, I owe you an apology. I reread my post from last night and it was definately too harshly worded. I'm sorry for that.

Wishing you both well.
