Im having my interview soon and they ask me for tha same stuff again, even the 380!!!! Do they send this checklist to everyone, without seeing what the petitioner send to NVC in the US?

Do I need to ask him to send me another adafit suport? His divorce papers? and what about the 380 dollars!!

HELP!

After your approval here in the states your husband should of sent you copies of everything he submitted here in the states along with the NOAs. You should get a package from the embassy and it will tell you what you need to submit along with information asking for police reports and your medical. You should follow the instructions and if you have submitted the affidivat of support to US make a cover letter stating that to return with your packet. As far as the money if he paid the fees he should have proof and sent it to you with the paperwork. You should take all paperwork, evidience of relationship to interview for proof of the marriage after you submit what the embassy asks for in their checklist.

Good luck.

Mary

I just received my packet 4 as well. Having gone through NVC and already submitting the I-864 as well as paying the visa application fee of $380 that is already taken care of. The forms are generic and will include things already submitted which the consulate will have/have knowledge of. As Mary stated, have a copy of your entire package on hand for the interview. Other then that just follow the instructions for the order of documents etc. to be submitted at the interview. All the best to you.

After receiving the NOA2 approval notice today, our attorney sent an email stating our packet will be sent to New Hampshire for an FBI check - (not sure - is the FBI check for the USC or the incoming person?) and then the packet is sent to the embassy (Vancouver in our case).

Thanks for you input!

Hi Deb,

This question would of been best asked in the K-1 forum instead of within another thread in the CR-1 section. Two totally different processes as CR-1 is for a spouse and the I-130 remains at NVC for quite a longer length of time :)

Name/security checks though are done on both the petitioner and the beneficiary.
