I found a strange recipe of some kind of mashed potato and banana, with onions, so I tried it and actually it wasn't bad. A little strange, but not bad. My camera didn't have battery anymore so I couldn't take a picture.

I'm making banana pudding on Friday for our cookout. I doubt I'll have enough wits about me to take pictures of it. I'll try to remember but I ain't making no guarantees.

I know this isn't the ingredient of the week but I just had to share the yummy dessert I made yesterday... I used nectarines and apples because that is what I had...

Bumble Cobbler

Fruit:

7 cups of mixed fruit (apples, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches etc)

3/4 cup white sugar

1/4 cup flour

1/3 cup water

combine all ingredients and mix well. Turn into a lightly greased 9 inch square pan.

Topping:

1 3/4 cup flour

2 tablespoons sugar

4 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup margarine

1 cup milk

Mix first 4 ingredients. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Add milk all at once. Stir with fork until all ingredients are moistened. Drop spoonfuls of batter over fruit. bake at about 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until top is golden brown. Serve warm.

it is a really easy and simple dessert.. (only hard part is cutting up all the fruit ) you can always adjust the sugar to suit your own taste too....

I shall definitely try that. Can I make with banana and apple? Maybe banana, apple and pineapple. I don't really like those berries.

not sure if banana or pineapple would work...

you don't have to use berries, you could use peaches, nectarines, maybe even mango
