Booty, I'm too curious for my own good sometimes....

on occasion my hubby eats menudo.... we got a couple cans a few months ago and he seemed to like it... and they didn't smell nearly as bad as the first time I smelled menudo... dang, I can't think of the brand name now... all my hubby does is warm it up and then eats it with some raw diced onions on top and maybe some hot sauce...

hmm, I just did a quick search and I think the brand was TiaAnitas or Juanitas... I do know that Juanitas makes good refried beans...

The soup menudo is a traditional Mexican dish; a frequently spicy soup made with tripe. It is often thought of as a cure for a hangover, and is traditionally served on special occasions or with family.

I wanna get a recipe with my mom and try it one day. I don't know if what she cooks is the same as menudo, but it has tripes in it and it's amazingly good. I just need to wait for hubby to be traveling cuz I know he won't eat it

I hear ya! All animal organs are not for me. Liver, kidney, heart , brain, stomach...you name it.

Although I am sure we both already had intestines, since that's what most sausages come in...eeeewwwwww
