* I only made half of this recipe so a full recipe will make about 6 dozen cookies, depending on how big or small you make them...

Thanks! I'm gonna try that. I never make cookies, or anything baked for that matter hardly ever, but these look like the kind you could pop a few in a freezer bag and take a baggie out of the freezer as you want them.....which might be everyday till they are gone... LOL

yeah, and that is what I usually try to do , hide some in the freezer so hubby doesn't eat them all...

this is my mom's recipe and we have been making them for as long as I can remember...

why not buy a container of cookie dough and just bake them as you want them. then you won't be tempted as often because it would mean you'd have to bake them first

but homemade cookie dough is better then a store bought cookie dough, full of preservatives and other #######

then make cookie dough and roll it into logs, wrap in wax or parchment paper and put it in the freezer. cut off pieces to bake as you want them

oh I said a few posts up that I tried it when I lived in England and I didn't like it. I would never say I don't like something if I'd never tried it.

yup!

neil is so annoying sometimes because he will say he doesn't like something and he's never tried it before. i always bug him until he tries it. usually it doesn't take very long for him to try something just to get me to shut up. then, he will make a point of saying how gross it is even if he likes it.

my favorite is if he says he liked something and then I tell him it had something in it that he doesn't like he says "oh well it wasn't that good. it did taste funny."
