I finally got a touch on my I-130, can you find out if they did anything with it and what they might have done? :dance::whistle:

No way to know what was done. The touch simply means it was looked at. Given your time line, it’s possible they are matching your I-130 with your I-129F and will send an NOA1 on your I-129F shortly.

Most of the petitions sent over the past 3 months have received NOA1 very quickly.

Be patient. The NOA2’s will take some time.

They may be "joining" your petitions. You may be getting your NOA1 for the I-129F soon. However, these are just guesses and a touch could really mean anything.

Thank you so much for your quick responses. I was begining to think they were never going to touch my file ( felt like the girl standing on the sidelines at the high school dance,lol) :whistle:

Don't stress yourself too much about touches. Our case was never touched up until they approved it. Pace yourself and don't focus too much on the time. You'll end up stressing yourself unnecessarily. Just know that one day you will get an email from USCIS telling you they have sent your approval notice. I put a filter on my email to forward any messages from USCIS to my phone. A week ago, I was driving to work when that long-awaited message came through. Take heart in the fact that the massive logjam at USCIS has let up considerably and you likely get processed more quickly than those of us who filed last year.

Ditto with CG. We didn't have any touches at all and my friends were ready to take my shoelaces and my belt. But last week we got approvals for both the 129 and 130. So don't put all your faith in the magic touches! :thumbs:

Thank you so much Ill try not to stress to much but Im a stresser by nature I think,lol. Im so glad for you that you finally got your approval. It gives me hope when I see ppl get approved. I hope the rest of your journey is alot faster and smoother for you. :thumbs:
