Police Certificate

I asked this in the regional forums but am asking here as well.

I got my police certificate today and I have a concern. On filling out the form I included all my previous married names and my maiden name yet the certificate has only came back with my now married name listed. As I listed all my names and had fingerprints done they would presumably have done that inclusively of all my prior names as well as my present. Is it a problem that only my current name is listed on the certificate? How the hell is the embassy to know that I had check done with them using all names or is the fact it was fingerprints as well mean that all is ok?

Thank you in advance for clarification with this.

My current name is all thats listed on the cert as well (UK version) but I gave maiden name as requested - I'm assuming its not an issue as the form itself (enquiry/inquiry form) makes you list all prev names and addresses and the only address that appears is my current one as well.

When I got my police certificate done, it came back with only my maiden name on it. I did read somewhere that the certificate has to include all names that you have used. I can't at all remember where I read that. Anyway, I didn't take a chance and had my certificate redone since I have been previously been married. I'm in Canada, so I don't know if it would be the same there.

Take care :)
