02/25/2008 - Package confirmed received at TSC.

No news at all - No NOA and No BIO appointment... Showing touched on 3/19 but not transferred... So I guess I'm stuck in TSC still... If I don't hear anything soon I'll call (do my due dilligence so that they cannot blame anything on me) - but beyond that there's part of me doesnt expect to hear much before its time to apply for citizenship... of course I could get lucky!

Thank Shari and Kathryn for the tip!! I called today and the first person I got was very helpful and know what she's doing :whistle: so she transfer me to national service center without me having to fuss or ask for.

Then I got my case number!! and yea, I'm staying in Texas :wacko: and she also said if I do not get my extension letter by the 14th I should call back.. that's good.. then I can buy my ticket to Canada!

so seems like they sent me the letter since March 19 so... we'll see!

K-1 = 4 months

AOS = 5 months

I-751 = almost one year

:goofy: Exactly the same for us as Jamieswith, although when I called National Service Center last week he said we were being transferred to Vermont, but that's not what it shows on the site. :goofy:

:goofy: YEA Anya!! Glad you finally got a good person. Supposedly they sent me a letter too on March 12th (that's what the site shows under our info.) but we never received it. I think they just say that as I have read a lot of people's comments say that the computer generated messages say they have sent out notices but they haven't gotten one, at least not until they have gotten their biometrics letter. We can hope though. :goofy:

Ok small update here

Check cleared the bank yesterday and has a number on the back. Its almost legible. Does it mean anything good like a case tracking number? :)

It is a receipt number, however it is not trackable by you online - it is something that USCIS could use to look you up in the system though, and get your trackable number from there.

Big Sigh - no news here either. Still says last touch on March 12, day after they 'received' the petition. Still says it is in Texas. Waiting when I can call back and start to nag - April 10.

Hi everyone,

I received my NOA/Biometrics letter today, which had the right SRC number on it!! Having then signed up for online tracking, I found out my file was transferred to the VSC on March 20th - the same day as Eveline! In fact we've even got the same biometrics date as well - so it's you and me together! :thumbs:

The VSC's dealing with Feb '07 cases now, so they're only 14 months behind ... Woo Hoo! :blink:
