I used to Live in Miami - you WILL HARDLY EVER get an appointment unless you get up VERY EARLY in the morning to make the appointment online.

If you try after 8am EST - you're out of luck, 6am... you might more commonly have a chance... 2.30am - well then you're pretty much guaranteed plenty of appointments to choose from.

I'd like to add mine, but mine still in VSC. I sent the package on May 1st to TSC, and being transfered to VSC. I Just checked the status online, it's still in VSC :crying: :angry:

Unfortunately for Miami, you really have to - just like you do with any of the very busy offices.

They usually add the new appointment blocks around 2am EST.... from that point on the available appointments reduce... slowly at first, but then by 7am they really start going fast...within a minute or so of the phone lines opening the appointments are usually all gone.

We still haven't received an NOA1 or Biometric Appointment. Are we the only ones who has not received the Biometrics yet?

Hi, I filled at TSC. My application was received on March 25th, 08. I just checked my status case online and it still says:

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Case received and pending.

On March 25, 2008, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done.

This worries me because supposedly TSC is no longer processing i-751 apps. So does this mean my case is going to stay at TSC? There are no signs of it being transferred to VSC.

Definetly you are not the only one. i have not received anything yet either

We'll see. I really hope its not gonna be 2 months before i get a NOA

Well I'm going to make an appointment and try to get my passport stamped as soon as my GC is expired... (I'll try to think of a good excuse) if I don't get the stamp i'll at least want the officer to tell me the current status and (maybe) give me a tracking number i can actually use.

I figure if I can get the stamp, then from that point I won't care too much! if I then dont hear anything before next january then i'll be just filing for citizenship... and at that point they'll just have to dig my file out of whatever service center it's getting fossilized at and send it to my local office for ajudication.

Perfect approach if you ask me

I would say congratulations.... but there's not really a lot to congratulate about when you've been messed around and delayed so much.

Alright, I guess the "spell" is broken because I received mail that for some reason I did not think I would receive ever. This last Saturday, I received a Notice of Action, extending my green card for another year ... something I should have received three months ago and that could have saved me a trip to my local USCIS office to get a stamp in my passport ... and I received my biometrics appointment.

I hope this will give some hope to the other ones that applied around the same time I did and are still waiting for a NOA and/or biometrics appointment.
