well the system at TSC is obviously broken. They tell us that they are sending out the NOAs along with the status update that acknowledges they have received the application but somewhere between the receipt of the applications and assignation of the CR-189 numbers there is a broken link - the action gets recorded as if it has happened, but remains undone and incomplete. Either no one is catching it, or they don't care - and either are possible - incompetency or apathy. Big Sigh! No news here either.

Well I will have some kind of news once I get home... dont know what kind - just some kind! lol

Well it looks like the people who are getting transferred to VSC are at least getting SOMETHING - while those of us who seem to be staying in TSC get nothing! - Ah well, I guess there's nothing new or unexpected there - sounds like the same old TSC!

Hmmmmm I spoke too soon... my wife just sent me a message that as she was leaving the house there is _something_ there in the mailbox from immigration - she didnt know what though... she left it for me! lol

Here's counting down to home-time to see what it is!

Ok, it's the Biometrics letter... 4/18/08 at 10am... however its at the opposite side of Houston... WHY? I have no idea - there are 2 offices within 30 mins of me (ok, one of those is the district office), but I'm assigned to the opposite side of town compared to where I live.

It's something I suppose.

Yes - It's competent enough to be in the same city - that's the real shocker... still I was really looking forward to a vacation in Seattle in order to do my Biometrics.

Well, you are the first one of us who hasn't been transferred who has received anything! So there is some hope. I sure would like to get a biometrics letter too - a number of us were all 'received' around the same time as you. We can always hope!

I got the biometrics letter yesterday. The appointment is at 1 pm on April 21st in Memphis. I still haven't got NOA. My card expires on May 2nd and I'm leaving for China on April 28th so I'll try to get a stamp while I'm there. Hope it'll work out. As I don't have the letter at hand and can't check my online status, I'll let you guys know once I get it today and see whether it's been transferred.

OOO another one - and right around the exact same time as me - that is great news:-). I don't know if you will be able to get the stamp at the Application Support Center which is where they do the biometrics. You may want to make a back-up infopass appointment as well that you can cancel if you need to just to make sure you don't have to try and make one on a short basis after the biometrics and they don't have an appointment slot available. I think it probably is the Biometrics letter - but with TSC who knows!

Ok, it's the Biometrics letter... 4/18/08 at 10am... however its at the opposite side of Houston... WHY? I have no idea - there are 2 offices within 30 mins of me (ok, one of those is the district office), but I'm assigned to the opposite side of town compared to where I live.

It's something I suppose.

you have exact time line as me so i HOPE to get mine soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :angry: but may be it'll take a bit longer time to send the mail to NC? :wacko:

K-1 = 4 months

AOS = 5 months

I-751 = almost one year

OOO another one - and right around the exact same time as me - that is great news:-). I don't know if you will be able to get the stamp at the Application Support Center which is where they do the biometrics. You may want to make a back-up infopass appointment as well that you can cancel if you need to just to make sure you don't have to try and make one on a short basis after the biometrics and they don't have an appointment slot available. Good luck.

:goofy: Go check your mailbox!! WE GOT OURS TODAY!! You and I are right there too. I just read that QingQing got hers and I went immediately down to the mailbox. Biometrics scheduled for May 1st in Tampa (we have a little more notice than some). Kathryn, you have to be next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :goofy:

03/03/08 . . . . Sent I-751 packet to TSC.

02/27/09 . . . . APPROVED.

CITIZENSHIP PROCESS:

05/21/12 . . . . Sent N-400 packet to Dallas lockbox

09/11/12 . . . . Interview in Atlanta. Oath ceremony same day. Keith is a U.S. Citizen!
