Anyone in here who knows what dates are still available for April inteview schedule? How about dates for May?

We've just received our NOA2 and we don't have any case number assigned yet. However, my husband and I would like to check what options we have so far regarding medical and interview dates.

Also, can somebody please clarify if we also need to schedule our medical appointment through the USEM or we can just drop by SLEC anytime as long as we already have the appointment letter on hand?

Your inputs on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It will be hard to tell what your options would be. Dates available today or tomorrow might not be available when your papers reaches USEM.

Good luck with the the remaining part of your journey. God speed.

We are wondering if USEM will send me a letter (snail mail) to inform me that they have received our papers and have our interview scheduled. Do they send letter? How would we know if they already have our petition?

NVC is supposed to send a letter to Ryan that they will be sending your approved I-129F petition to USEM. Ricky recieved the letter on March 24 and I urged him to call NVC to inquire about the exact date that they will be sending our papers.. He was told that they will be sending it our on March 24, the same day he received the NVC letter. From the date they send out your papers, give it 1 week then you can call for interview appointment already.

If your a little bit OC like me you can track try tracking your papers via DHL site as soon as you get the exact date that your papers was sent to USEM.

Try the DHL tracking tips here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=115441 .

After your papers arrived at USEM, give them at least a day to encode your case and then you can call na. We called Tuesday morning Philippine time (Monday evening US time) and would you believe we were given the option to have interview on April 9.... KALOKA!!! next week na kaya yon. It was good Shape of my heart gave me the idea to chat with Ricky while he was making the call, at least I was able to tell him the date I want and I was also able to tell him to ask questions for me.

Ryan can call as early as 8am Philippine time. Good luck, I hope you would be able to choose the date that you want.

Another piece of advice diay, if your planning to have medical just 1 week prior to interview then make sure you will give allowance for your monthly period before setting up your interview sched. If you will take your medical a month before, then I guess there won't be any problem bisan unsa na date imo pilion sa interview.

Oh cool! It's good to know that NVC sends out our papers to USEM same day as we received the hardcopy of the NVC letter. I'll tell my husband about this :D Thanks dbears... My husband told me earlier that he'll be calling NVC today to check if they already assigned us a case #. As per the interview schedule, I think I would do the same. I'll ask my husband to call USEM while we're chatting as I don't want him to get the soonest interview schedule available even if our supporting documents are already ready. I'll probably go bonkers if he'll tell me that I'll have the interview the following week... I've yet to do a lot of organizing as I am super OC  Anyway, thanks so much for all these tips. God Bless.
