Well, we alredy sent our AOS and I want to continue to going to the school. I want to take English classes, I'm the imigrant. My family told me that I can ask for schoolarship o partial help to do it. I'm not sure if it will affect my AOS...

For other way, my husband (US citizen) wants to study but it's the same situation, I don't know if the public charge exclusion will apply only for me?? Can he ask for financial help for himself??

What services are considered as public charge if you ask for??

Thanks in advance.

I dont think you will have any problems, as getting student assistance under the Higher Education Act is not a mean tested public benefit. As soon as I get my green card I will be applying for grants and all that through fafsa and get back to school :reading:. You know me and you have a very similar timeline and as soon as you hear something I will be checking my e-mail every minute and if I hear something first you should check your e-mail every minute as well. Hope we hear something soon so me and my hubby can celebrate (Im already planning a celebration) I really want to get my Drivers license and work.

Hi nelly. I hope we won't have any future problems for that. And sure! I will left you know anything related with this. On Monday I went to apply for my driver license, and I passed the theorical exam. Now i'm waiting for my old car. I don't know what happened with it, the day that I went to the driver license it activated the alarm and it blocked it. So, I need to have more practice in another car  before I will go to make the practice test...

If you prefer you can write in Spanish, at least for me, it's more difficult to write in english that I wanna say. It's a good practice to learn too. LOL

Thank you for the info.
