Previous Marriage Certificate needed for Poland?

Hi all. Another question that I've searched for but haven't found a clear answer.

My fiancee has a previous marriage.

Obviously we have her divorce decree... do we need to ALSO have that marriage certificate for the Embassy interview there in Poland?

We got the same situation too. . .

My Fiance had a previous marriage in the U.S, although we had a divorce decree papers and annulment I secured a marriage certificate too just in case the consul will ask. .

What does the Embassy say? In Canada, there are two Consulates, one requires it, the other doesn't. It's usually used as a way of verifying name changes actually. Find out what your Embassy requires, and even if you think it's stupid if they do ask for it, make sure you have it. It would be sad to think your visa could be delayed because you thought you shouldn't need it, but it is required.

Typically they will want to see any documentation that legally changes ones name. For sure if the marriage certificate caused the person to legally change there name then have it with you
