I am so sorry that you were put on AP.

I understand how you feel, we were on AP for over a year. It is a terrible place to be but you will get through it.

My advice is to call DOS every other week or so to try to get any hint at what they are checking. It is confidential but some visa specialists at

DOS give a hint now and then. You can ask them are we on security checks or document verification ? Can you see any notes from the embassy on your screen as to the nature of the AP ? If you get lucky you will get someone who may give a piece of the puzzle one call at a time.

It could be document verification, a home investigation or a security check.

If possible go visit him and with that you have added proof of a bona fide relationship. You may want to consider being present at the next interview

if they will ask for a 2. interview.

Keep the communication alive with emails, phone calls, chats and send packages, all are good relationship proof.

Try to pinpoint what exactly they may want by the questions that were asked.

DOS 202 663 1225 ( 1, 0, 4, 3, 0 ).

I am here if you need encouragement or have questions. You will get through this (F)

I am very sorry to hear abt your news. Unfortunately it seem like AP is essential to most k1/k3 petitions these days. As of now patience is the name of the game. Hang in there! My thought & prayers are with you & yours.

So sorry to hear that...Did he actually go thru the whole interview? Did he have all the documents and enough proof of relationship? What exactly did the paper he was given say? If he had everything required it's hard to believe he was put in AP, unless it is a security check. I have heard others say that they also do random AP. Will have u in our prayers. Please keep us posted.

God Bless (L)

I am sorry to hear of your AP and know how you feel. Follow sister Oboma's advice and like someone else mentioned Moon was reunited with her husband within the past two weeks. My husband was in AP for 5 months and it is common at some embassies/consulates so try to take your journey one day at a time. I will be praying for you during this time.

Mary
