I129F CSC filers????

Well as I have been lurking around it seems a lot of Cali Service Center people have at least gotten their NAO1.........I am scared now and even more impatient that we haven't even been touched since Jan 28th....It was received the 18th (logging onto USCIS to doublecheck) ok and last touched/updated was the 27th.

Now I am kinda nervous only cause my divorce was just finalized on the 4th of January.....anyone else applied so soon after a divorce finalization?

Hoping that won't affect us!!!! Thanks!

The processing at the CSC seems to be the most frustrating. You can expect anywhere from 3 to 6 months but usually within that time period. Anything longer than that is rare or due to other circumstances like an RFE.

Best thing to do is cross your fingers and hope you recieve yours in the period between March and May.

If there was an issue with your divorce finalization they would make it known to you. Don't worry too much, if there were an issue with your case they will not just throw it away and give no notification. They will let you know if there are any issues before taking action.

Ok I am a dingbat LOL.....I have recieved NOA1 as that is the official form I got in the mail dated 1/22/08 as the notification date heeheee.....have it in my hands at this moment! it was received on 1/18/08....ok ok feel a tiny bit better now!

You will get an email from notifying that they have approved your petiton.

Thanks did that! Hoping to hear SOONNNNN!!!! Like I mentioned somewhere else on here we are planning a Sept 27th wedding so here's hoping all goes as planned!!!!

Ughh hope not...on my other forum there have been some approvals for December petitioners!

Look at Igors list. The last approvals have been centered around early mid nov. CSC does tend to go more in order than VSC. If you look at the stats page it seems CSC is doing about 20 a week. Find your place on the list and divide by 20. That should be about how many weeks you have to wait assuming they keep their current rate.

As long as you sent your divorce decree and showed that you were legally free to marry you should be all set. My divorce will be final on April 14th and i'm filing the 15th!

Then there's those of us from way earlier who haven't had a sausage...

The CSC processing that was last updated Feb 15th says they were working on Aug 17th. Be careful building hopes up, it's very stressful!

It's so hard to wait! I am trying really hard to change my expectations. I'm not expecting to hear anything before July. It doesn't stop me from stressing about it and checking the USCIS site at least once a day...but I'm not really expecting any news.

dont worry urs will come soon.........not all of us get stuck in csc and thats a good thing.......but it does take longer a csc than the other place but dont worry it will come just hang in there
