Civil Status in Marriage Contract is BLANK!

I just go to the Municipal to get a copy of Marriage Contract. ( just got married last Feb 14, 2008 ).

The lady notice that why the CIVIL STATUS in my marriage contract is TOTALLY BLANK!!!!

She said, the Embassy Manila might wonder about this and asked me and my husband about it. The consul might think we were'nt single when we got married..

But we have a License to Capacity to Marry and thats the evidence we can show them....

We got married at the church. Maybe the Pastor or i dunno who typed our marriage contract...

HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED THIS? SHOULD I MAKE IT RIGHT AS EARLY so that I WONT HAVE ANY PROBLEM IN THE FUTURE?

05-09-2014 AOS status "PAID" (2 days from the date the was paid)


05-22-2014 AOS docs delivered in NVC


06-27-2014 RFE for I864 and I864A (i left the Place of residence blank, 26 days from the date they received the AOS)


06-28-2014 Mailed the corrected forms to NVC


06-30-2014 NVC received the AOS corrected forms


07-01-2014 Received IV Bill Invoice, paid.


07-02-2014 PAID status of the mother


07-07-2014 PAID status of the father


07-08-2014 Mailed the supporting docs

10-14-2014 NBI clearance delivered in USEM

10-09-2014 Got an email that my dad's visa was issued

We got married at the Makati City Hall and just before they typed our marriage contract, the Judge's assistant asked me and my husband to review / double-check everything that is written in the draft to ensure that all the blanks are filled out and that the details are accurate. She even mentioned that any errors right after it has been processed can be amended; however, it will make you wait further e.g 2-4 months as I vaguely remembered. I think there is also a fee associated with each of the error(s) committed regardless if it’s incorrect spelling or a missing word. Please work very closely with your City Hall personnel to make the necessary changes ASAP.

07/16/08 - filed AOS application

07/18/08 - received by USCIS

07/22/08 - USCIS mailed our NOA

07/24/08 - touched

07/25/08 - received NOA (AOS, EAD, AP)

07/29/08 - received ASC Appointment Notice (Biometrics)

08/09/08 - biometrics appointment

08/11/08 - I485 and I765 touched

09/17/08 - AP approved

09/19/08 - EAD approved, card already in production

09/24/08 - EAD card received

09/25/08 - SSN application

10/01/08 - received letter re: SSN card delivery in 2 weeks

actually, the lady from the municipal told me to submit 2 evidences from and from my husband that we are single when we got married.. good thing, i ave the copy our legal capacity to marry.. she also said that it wil take 3 days for the changes..

anyways, at least im trying to fix this before the consul find out..
