Are you telling me that as a wife, you don't think it's your job to keep your husband looking good? Well dayum, nowadays WHAT exactly IS a wife?? I may be wrong, but a man can legally go to JAIL for abandoning his wife and not financially caring for his wife....but your saying that a woman should not be obligated to wash & press a SHIRT??

FYI: There is no obligation in Islam for wives to wash and press shirts. In fact, in Islamic law, a wife has only to service her husband sexually; otherwise, she can demand a housekeeper and a nanny for her children. She doesn't even have an obligation to raise them.

That is the law as determined by scholars. Unless you have scholars living with you, what you and your husband choose to do is up to the two of you.

If your Muslim, then you will know basically the gist of what this post means. You will most likely understand and be able to read between the lines to get to the crusp of what it all boils down to.

also if geared towards muslims you should post in mena. you titled the thread "60 Ways to Keep Your Husbands Love, Geared towards Muslim Women, but can be good for any woman." so you changed your mind when we didn't agree with you? you're the one who said it can be good for ANY woman not just muslim
