"Officials were trying Tuesday to decide whether to file charges against a Missouri man who fatally shot his wife while trying to install a satellite TV system in the bedroom of their home.

Patsy Long, 34, of Deepwater, died after being shot in the chest with a .22-caliber handgun on Saturday. Her husband, Ronald Long, fired the shot from the inside of their home after several unsuccessful efforts to punch a hole through the exterior wall using other means.

Henry County sheriff's deputies said the woman was hit by the second of two shots fired by her husband.

Long was given CPR by neighbors and family until medics arrived, police said. She was transported by air ambulance, but was pronounced dead at the hospital just after 6 p.m. "

That is 100% nuts! He can now have the forever memory of taking his wife "off the air" permanently every time he turns on his television. Just unbelievable.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

####### is right... another Darwin Award winner. Lets see what the poor moron actually does with having a gun now.

Unfortunately the guy already bred, and wasn't the one to die. So maybe just a Darwin honorable mention.

The scary thing is that if this guy happens to go to prison, he'll probably get the cable television he was trying to install in the first place.

I really can't understand how anyone could be so stupid and careless as to use a firearm to purposefully punch a hole in a wall. Even when I was a child (and had far less knowledge of guns than I do now) I knew better than that!
