It was a doddle

The USCIS building is 5 minutes from Oklahoma City airport, so very easy to find.

They only let you into the building 15 mins before your appointment, so no point getting there really early. The biometrics dept seems to be operated by kids basically and they were all very friendly and relaxed with us.

You fill out a short form with your personal details, then get a number and wait to be called. All I gave for ID was my UK passport and my appt letter.

They call you through into a big room, type your details into a PC, take your fingerprints and a picture, get you to fill out a customer care card and that's it.

Just one important note if you are from the UK. I put UK on the form I filled in, he put it into the PC, his colleague noticed it was wrong and had me down as from the UKRAINE!!!! If his colleague had not noticed we'd have been in a whole world of trouble and probably been delayed months - so put England on the form!

We were in and out in 15 minutes, however we made sure we the first through the front door for the 2pm appointments sheduled - there were a few with the same time.

This is also the place you go for the interview, having been there and seen how nice they are, I am now totally relaxed at the prospect of my interview.
