Do we need to translate the police certificate?

Hey all.

My fiancee just called me, she's standing in line all day for her police certificate. The connection was so bad I could hear half the stuff she told me but they are telling her that she needs to go to the "Yellow House" and that it must be translated?

-Has anybody heard of this "Yellow house"? What is it?

-Does the Costa Rican police certificate need to be translated?

Never mind, she was given bad info. They corrected themselves.

It does not need to be translated.
