 Hi to all...

I've got some questions after I receive the NOA2..

My fiance called the NVC yesterday and got our case number, today I paid delbros but haven't texted them about the payment.

My questions:

1. Will I have to wait for USE to send me something before calling them for an interview appointment?

or I could just call them even without receiving anything from them as long as I have my MNL case number?

2. How much is the visa application fee that I have to pay at BPI/Citibank? I know it's $131 but what's the peso equivalent when you're paying it at the bank?

Thank you!

You should call the NVC when they forwarded your case at the USE then call the USE if they received it too. Once the USE received your case it won't take long to verify it then call them and ask for your PE and Appointment for Interview. Ask them to email you the Confirmation Letter because you need to show this during your PE at St. Lukes.

The girl I talked with at the USE Call Center said that they won't send packet for K-1 but can be downloaded at their website. I didn't know about their new procedure and good it's nice I called them. Also I was curious about the Delbros if all K-1 Applicants need to pay the Document Verification Fee a month after the interview but they said I should call the USE first before paying or I will refund the fee I deposited. So I called the USE again and the girl said that it depends on the Consul and if my documents need to be verified and it's okay to pay during the day of the interview and it won't cause any delay for the visa.

I hope this information will help you.

1. You will need to call the Embassy to schedule an interview. I suggest allowing at least a week for NVC to send petition to USEM and for USEM to input your petition. This link gives you the phone numbers and links to download packet IV:

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html

2. The exchange rate changes every day, so you simply take 131 x the current exchange rate. Yesterday's rate = 5,464.665 PHP. This link will calculate the rate for you:

http://finance.yahoo.com/currency?a=1&s=USD&t=PHP

Simply put 131 into the first text block; then scroll down to Philippine Peso in the into drop down list; and press the Convert button.

Naturalization

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

Hey, if you want to pay your Visa fee, you just go to a nearest Bank of Philippine Island near you and just tell the bank teller that your going to pay the Visa fee. They will tell you how much u pay in peso which is equivalent to $131.
