well, that fits; I've never been inside an Asda here, and don't intend to go inside a Wal-Mart there :D

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I have seen Lays, but I haven't seen Sensations. I think since they're so light, we should all get people to sent big boxes of them over to us..LOL

I have seen Lay Sensations here, but not in the same flavors as in the UK. They do have one that's pretty good called Sweet Cili & Sour Cream...not quite the same as the Thai Sweet Chili, but close enough!

NO man, we don't get any of the awesome flavors you Brits get! It's so unfair and I really don't understand the marketing decisions on that either. I'm sure it'd sell very well in the US...I mean we're fatter than you are.

I have so many "fixes" I need whenever I visit Scotland xD Gotta get my curry and my steak pie and my walker's and my hobnobs out :D I think I'm gonna miss much more about UK food than my British SO will :P

I've yet to find the courage to try all the little cheap bags of taters that are like...12p or something, like monster munch and pickle flavored god knows and stuff like that :P

We DO get pickled flavor chips here sometimes, I've seen, but haven't tried them. Sounds pretty awful. And we did a few years back start getting kettle chips (try Mrs. Vickie's jalapeno ones :o) so mmmm we're progressing :)

For some reason there's never any Ribena to be found in a british store here, either. And cheese. We don't get many cheeseboards at all :( Sigh.

Pringles do a 'Select' range chips now which are gourmet and they are like Walkers Sensations... Actually they are better!

Most places have a Worldmarket or English store for the things you can't live without, you just need to Google or ask around. I live in Dayton and we have one so the rest of you should be fine :)

I'm sure I read someone posting here that Target was the equiv to Topshop.......I have no idea what Topshop they were shopping in but it's not even close!

H&M is over here though in some places.

I agree with the earlier post, Boots is a distant memory when you have Sephora!

I think we get those pringles as well but aren't they still reconstituted potato stuff? I want real potatoes!! :D

Actually I haven't seen new baby potatoes in the store when I have been looking at fresh produce as well... russet is about the only potato I could find and you can't even make decent wedges with them... dunno how they will hold up for roasters...

It really depends on where you are. Some people are hours away from a World Market. ;)
