I wish I could give them our visa. I would be willing to wait longer just to see their dream come true, and I really mean this. Since this is not possible, all I and everyone can do is pray. Prayer, sometimes, is the best thing anyone can do for someone else.

Congratulations Melinda and Mohamed, Cheryl and Medo and of course Nagishaw.........We are so happy for all of you and wish for all of you to have long happy lives with your SO. Hopefully we are close behind you. Everyone still waiitng are in my prayers everyday....for a speedy resolution. God bless us all. Cairo keep up the good work. :dance::thumbs:

Called NVC Interview is Feb 11th 2008 at 0730 Packet 4 mailed by embassy today 1-22-2008

02/09/08 Just 1 day left before Interview......so nervous :wacko: (Feb 11th at 0730 is Feb 10th 1130 pm central time in USA)

Interview a success............approved!!! Feb 11th 2008

Still waiitng for security checks to be completed March 19 2008

Email from embassy...Security checks completed visa under fianl review for issuance March 25th 2008 :dance:

Our timeline:

September 29, 2005.......met online.

October and November 2006......was in Egypt with my sweetie.

November 1, 2006......We were married.

December 2006........I-130 filed

January 2007...........I-129 filed

April 2007................I-130 and I-129 approved

June 14, 2007.........Visa interview completed

December 2, 2007.....Home interview

February 12, 2008........Second interview

February 26, 2008....I was called by the embassy and was given a short interview over the phone and was told that my case will be moved forward and someone would contact my husband soon to send in his passport.

March 2, 2008......My husband was contacted by the embassy to send in his passport.

March 3, 2008......Passport sent by DHL.

March 4, 2008......Embassy received the passport.

March 18, 2008......VISA IN HAND!!! YEAH!!

August 15, 2008....filed I-485 adjustment of Status and I-765...Employment Authorization

October 14, 2008.....I-765...Employment Authorization approved, card received 1 month later.

January 15, 2009......Adjustment of Status interview for green card...approved!!! Received green card two weeks later.

today was so special day two visa in hand me and chyrl and medo . and one visa in its way to nagishkw

and inshaAllah soon t and a and lynnandahmed & chyrl and ahmed & birdget

we pray for u all dear friends

Bittersweet. Sweet because such good news is coming out of Cairo at long last and bitter because such dear sisters have been waiting over a year now...Aj1, CairoBound, Sun_Flower, and a few more. We must keep praying hard for these people daily. In fact, pray hard for all who are in AP hell still!

Alhamodlilah we got the visa today in DHL

first i wish best luck to all who waiting thier visa and in AP . inshaAllah they will good news soon . just keep faith

visa was issued march 18th after one day from the interview i still cant believe it my interview was march 17th . Allah is great . and it seem cairo do thier work right now Alhamodlilah.

i have question the visa say it was issued march18th 2008 and expire sep16th 2008

that mean it is good for 6 months or i have to leave be4 3 months
