I-751 transferred from TSC to VSC and back to TX

Hi, this is my first post and in need of help. I applied for I-751 on Mar 6th 2007 and received my BIO and fingerprint after waiting 10 months finally heard from TSC that they have transferred the case to VSC and need more evidence like IRS Transcripts and bank statements and all the bills and mortgage papers. I submitted the papaers and today on Mar 26 2008 received the letter stating that "your Form I-751 has been relocated to the address shown below.

Houston District Office"

I need some help to why this happened and what can i expect next ? Also is this the sign that I will be called for interview.

Please any suggestions will help.

IT looks like they are going to schedule you for interview and that is why they send it back to houston district office

It's hard to say what this is a sign of. Another VJ'er (Dr. Zoso), who filed at TSC about the time you did, had the same thing happen to him. He filed in February 2007, and in November received the message you did, albeit referencing the Atlanta district office. I believe he made an InfoPass appointment at the Atlanta office for a month later to see what was going on, and found out that his case was just then being input into the office's computer system. When last I heard, he was still waiting for something to happen, four months after this "relocation." He's around here on VJ somewhere.

I was transferred from TSC to VSC like many here too. My transfer letter was sounding like interview but haven't heard from them since transfer. Can't answer to your question but was wondering if it is a sign that they are starting to look at Texas transferred files? When was your online application touched?

BTW today is March 25.

actually the letter states that it has been relocated to the District Officefor adjudication.Does that mean I have to make INFO PASS appt. ? Also my one year extension expires in a month so I have to get info pass i guess to extend it. My case was last touched online a month ago. 2/25

I don't know if Dr. ZoSo's letter said the same thing or not, but I believe it did. You might want to PM him and see if he can shed any light: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...4&MID=39457

I'd doubt an InfoPass appointment would lead to the local office adjudicating the petition right then and there -- I would think they would send you a notice. I would, however, schedule an InfoPass for a couple of weeks from now so you at least can get the I-551 stamp and ask what's going on.

Yes it sounds like we are both the victim of a "random" interview for quality controlling purposes. My case was indeed sent to the TSC in 2/07. It was then transferred back to the Atlanta District office (because I live in north Atlanta) around August of 07 (I think...).

Just before it was transferred back to the Atlanta office I had my senator involved and also submitted a research request to the USCIS through their phone reps. Perhaps I pissed someone off?

When the 1 year NOA ran out I made an infopass appointment and was sent to a substation of the Atlanta District office (no where even near the District office in fact) and got a 6 month stamp which allowed my wife to at least get her D/L updated for 6 more months. That's really about all you can do. I'm still waiting just like everyone else.

No update yet and since my case has been sent back to the Atlanta District office I can not even check the status on-line through the USCIS case status website.
