I keep seeing and hearing people talk about there I-129 . It is my understanding I-130 has to do with the CR-1. that once you summit the I -129 you now trying to get a K-3 visa. I heard the middle of last year that once you summit the I-129 uscis stop processing the I-130 forum. there is a big difference between CR-1 and K-3 and how they are processed. so my question is why do they post on this forum when they need to go to they K-3 forum. If you want to keep both I-130and I-129 you need to fill out another form and pay 200 dollars the get the I-130 moving again. A trick I heard is that you wait till I-130 is sent to NVC then summit the I-129, no extra cost and have both type of visa working in case one get hung in some part of the process.

I think Trudger's ultimate point is that K3 people post in the IR1/CR1 forum.

I find it irritating that people post the same things in multiple forums. Everyone has a limited amount of time and it is wasteful of time. (But don't get me started about quoting and quoting quotes and quoting the quoting of quoted quotes. There is ZERO reason to quote that much.)
