DO you still get jealous ???

100% of us here are engaged and some are married,Just wondering if you still get "jealous"sometimes when you talk /discuss about with your partner's ex's.

How do u handle it?or is it ok with you if your fiance/spouse to be friends with their ex????

Sometimes I feel a twinge of jealousy over his first love. My first husband was my first love. So neither of us is the other's first love. But we plan to be the lasting love. I think feeling jealousy is a natural part of being in love. It's healthy but if you give it legs it can run away with you. I have a child with my ex, so he's still in my life. It's a lot of balance between my fiance and my ex-husband. My ex-husband had also reached a point of wanting me back. But it was too late. Plus, I'd already become seriously involved with my fiance. We have to be connected because of our child and thus my fiance has to be connected. We both have a little jealousy. I don't equate jealousy with mistrust at all! I think that too much jealousy can lead to overprotectiveness. But we're no where near there.

Neither one of us had ever been really in love before - so I don't have anyone to be jealous of.

Both of us have been hurt in the past by our ex's. We have discussed it because we both had trust issues. After we discussed it, we both realised that we had found someone we could trust. We trust each other implicitly. He's the first one in my life that I have completely trusted.

Everyone has a past...some more extensive than others. As others have said, jealousy can be very destructive to a relationship. This can be especially so when regular contact with an ex is a necessity (children, finances). The most important thing to realize that you are currently with each other and exes are exes.

i don't really mind if my spouse still be friends with ex's .is not something to jealous about.

I would get jealous over a stranger on the street smiling at my girl before her former husband! Her former husband is just that former.

I actually cannot stand "real" jealousy...I like it only if it's playful, I consider it a lack of trust.

We aren't jealous people by nature. We are also one of those weird types of people who are relieved to be married. Neither of us liked dating or any of that mess. We found what we wanted, that's the end of it. Why would we want to go back out into that shark tank?
