Thanks WOM

The interview has been postponed to next Saturday or the following Tuesday because my husband could not find anyone who could translate his documents in Oran until yesterday and he picked them up today. We now have to wait to be rescheduled because if he would have had them ready Saturday, he would have gone today and then interviewed tomorrow. Now I am shooting for Tuesday as an interview date but it could be Saturday. I will not know until tomorrow

good luck! maybe Jackie will be done with her coffee by then to round up the troops!

Yeah it took us 5 days to find a translator that could translate the items to English. Then when my husband went to call the embassy to reschedule, no one has answered all day. He will call tomorrrow to see when they will schedule him.. I am really thinking it might not be till Tuesday ( april fools day LOL) but at least we are very close. All the items came in the packet and my husband was able to rush around and get all the things he needed pretty quickly but then we ran into the problem of finding a translator in Oran. There seems to be alot in French but its really horrible trying to find an english translator. There are plenty in Algiers but Oran doesnt seem to have any at all. He finally found one close to the airport through a taxi driver by chance ( the place he was told to go was not there but the taxi driver knew someone who did translations. Now he just needs to get to Algiers after of course getting his appointment set. Its Tuesday and he hasnt reached the embassy so I will try tonight by phone ( I will call at like 3 am to catch them when they open.) And he will try to and hopefully they will set aside time Saturday for us. My guess is Tuesday. They only interview certain days for immigrant visas ( CR1s)
