Hi all,

I received my NOA1 on 12/31/07 and currently I have yet to receive the NOA2. I've heard that the USCIS process the applications in the order they are received by recently I have seen that there are people that have submitted their I129F in Feb and have already received their approval. Is there any specific reason that some applications will take longer than others? Thanks

Name check is one of the variables that can cause processing to happen at different rates, also there are 2 centers that handle the I-129F Vermont and California, Vermont has newer equipment so is a bit more efficient, however California has more Adjudicators to offset this.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

That's just what they say so people don't complain too much.

The reality is that there is no rhyme, reason, or order for the way they do things. It's all luck of the draw. It's like a NOA2 lottery.

I'm a bit of a newbie to this and I had a couple of questions.

1. I noticed that some people make note of when their applications were touched. I'm curious about how someone would obtain that information?

2. Someone also mentioned to me that I may want to use the RFE trick to get the VSC to get my application. What exactly is the "RFE trick"?

Thanks for your responses.
