Quickly Cashed The Check

I sent the I-129F documents and they were received by the service center.My check for the fee was cashed and processed through my bank 3 days later. Is there any positive meaning to this,or is that the standard time frame?

The check-cashing time is completely random, and forms no correlation with the completely random approval time.

You can know they have touched it most likely and will be send you an approval soon.

Cashing a check quickly simply means there's no backlog to opening their mail. One could infer the processing backlog has become smaller as well. One cannot predict "approval" only "adjudication". There may be an rfe or denial. Approval is the hoped for but not only option.

Current anecdotal data indicates shorter service center timelines, IMO. We've seen a few near 30 days recently.

Like most big organizations - the mail is opened and the check is separated from the documents and cashed as soon as possible (they generally give a matching sequence number to the check and the document to 'marry' them up later. So, the good news is they have opened the mail and started your document on its process but the first step might be its just sitting in a pile with other documents for a few days or weeks. Good Luck

My check was cashed in just one day. I guess CSC needed the money badly.

I'm still waiting so unfortunately it doesn't mean quick approval.
