Hahahaha. I think I'm going to start using that to emphasize big days for me.

"I was so excited on my last day of school. I wanted to celebrate, but I was running under sniper fire."

I'm going to assume that we won't have any Hillbots in here supporting Hillary's blatant lies.

Sniper fire my ###. She came to the country in March 1996, after the Dayton Peace Accords (November 1995) when there were no more fightings and the only sniper fire she could've seen was in Sarajevo 1992-1995 - I saw sniper fire, not her!

Amazing what some people will come up with :wow:

Don't mind me...I'm just posting under sniper fire.

This could turn out to be her "I invented the internet" moment.

I can see how she could be just misconstruing what someone told her, like, we have to protect ourselves from sniper fire. She might have thought that meant it's cloudy with an 100% chance of sniper fire. I don't know.

I'm sure there probably was a security detail protecting her, and part of the security she was being protected by may have consisted of a few snipers on building tops looking out for suicide Serbians running at her. Those snipers were prepared to fire above her in that event, so she would have been under Snipers (prepared to) fire. See...

Ok so the Hill campaign person said there was fire in the mountains around them...eh what about the no greeting ceremony...which obviously took place? Also it didn't look like they were "running" with their "heads down"...maybe it's some sort of secret code for walking normally to the covert airport meeting covertly referred to as "no greeting ceremony".

Hillary responds to Philadelphia Daily News' senior writer Will Bunch:

"Now let me tell you what I can remember, OK -- because what I was told was that we had to land a certain way and move quickly because of the threat of sniper fire. So I misspoke -- I didn't say that in my book or other times but if I said something that made it seem as though there was actual fire -- that's not what I was told. I was told we had to land a certain way, we had to have our bulletproof stuff on because of the threat of sniper fire. I was also told that the greeting ceremony had been moved away from the tarmac but that there was this 8-year-old girl and, I can't, I can't rush by her, I've got to at least greet her -- so I greeted her, I took her stuff and then I left, Now that's my memory of it.

I followed-up, noting that the episode has raised questions about her credibility on foreign policy. She responded:

"No, I went to 80 countries, you know. I gave contemporaneous accounts, I wrote about a lot of this in my book. you know, I think that, a minor blip, you know, if I said something that, you know, I say a lot of things -- millions of words a day -- so if I misspoke, that was just a mistatement."

I say a lot of things? Millions of words a day?

Oh, and there was a threat of sniper fire and she left an 8 year old girl on the tarmac? Just "took her stuff" and left?

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.
