HAS ANYONE WAITED 2 YEARS FOR THE GREEN CARD? IT HAS BEEN 2 YEARS OF SENDING PROOF OF INCOME AND OTHER FORMS. I DONT GET IT? I KNOW MY INCOME IS A LITTLE COMPLICATED BECAUSE I AM A FOSTER CARE PARENT AND TAXES ARE NOT TAKEN OUT BUT I HAVE SENT ALL THE PROOF THEY NEED AND 2 YEARS LATER STILL WAITING.

Why dont you make an infopass appointment at your local USCIS office to enquire about it. If you dont get an answer there, contact your Senator or Congressman. Good luck.

THE INFO PASS IS A JOKE. WE WENT 3 TIMES ALREADY AND THEY HAVE NO MORE INFO THEN WE DO. THEY SENT MESSAGES TO THE PROCESSING CENTER AND ALSO WHEN WE CALLED USCIS THEY WERE GOING TO SEND A LETTER ALSO. IM NOT REALLY WORRIED BECAUSE WE FILED FOR FIANCEE VISA AND IT TOOK 3 MONTHS FOR HIM TO GET HERE SO I WOULD RATHER WAIT FOR GREEN CARD THEN WAIT FOR HIM TO COME HERE.

I would call your senator or congressman then. Hopefully they can get an answer for you.

The USCIS Ombudsman addresses cases that are past their priority dates. And two years, certainly seems like it. Contact their offices, and the Ombudsman will put an inquiry to USCIS itself. Good luck.

It may be that you are stuck in the infamous FBI name check, but the 2 year wait is too long. Contact your congressman/senator to help you. Good Luck

removing conditions. Thats what im kind of afraid of. not really afraid but of course on my mind. Why do u say I wont have to worry about that? That is great news. If thats the case then it doesnt matter how much time they take.

My husband's AOS took 2 1/2 years because of FBI name check, and he just received his 10-year card last month. The only upside to the delay was that we got to skip the whole removing conditions, although waiting for so long was stressful and expensive (3 EADs and 2 APs).

I suggest an InfoPass appointment to find out what's up. If you don't get a satisfactory answer, request congressional assistance. They deal with this stuff all the time and should be able to find out what the hold-up is.
