We are going for our interview in montreal on wednsday. On the appointment letter it says we need to have duplicate copies of the ds 156. We already sent duplicate copies of our ds 156 with our packet three. We are just bringing the copies of the original 156 to the interview. Do we need to go and do them over again and submitt 2 new ones at the interview? Any one with a recent interview or any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I had my interview last Wednesday (Approved, YAY!!!) and they had the DS156s I submitted previously and just asked me if there was anything that changed. I didn't need new ones.

If I remember correctly you are to sign the DS-156 in front of the CO so he/she can witness your signature..... which is why they request that you fill it in, unsigned, and bring it with you. I do not recall having to submit anything with the checklist, but times may have changed since then.

It's the DS156K you have to bring and sign at the interview, the DS156 is what you submit with package 3 (and what Montreal will already have).
