ooooh bad idea. I always make sure I have LOTS of bottled water in my room just in case I wake up super thirsty.

I also agree with the hot showers. one time in cancun I was so mad because I could only get the water lukewarm and the window inside the shower wouldn't shut so I took a lukewarm shower with a cool breeze blowing on me. grrrrr

we have all the above in Brazil. Except good roads in some areas. I can't complain where I used to live, south Brazil, they have amazing roads, but I know if I go north it starts sucking.

I don't take anything for granted, but if you're talking about things that are better:

- banks - faster service, no lines
