hello,

happy to join this forum

plz I'm moroccan, my fiance is american

I want to know what is the faster visa CR1-IR1 or K3 ?

we'll get married next summer and choice between K3 or the ather one it's causing us a lot of worry

seconde question: is it possible to file for visa at the consulate casablanca or he must file in america?

K-3 has less processing at NVC, and can be applied for while the I-130 for CR-1 is still being processed by USCIS. So K-3 is the quicker of the 2 spousal visas.

K-3 has the disadvantage of having to later adjust status, and having to wait for EAD or Green-card in order to get a job, SSN or driver's license.

Also, IR1 visas are only issued after a couple is married two years. Here's hoping you're not still needing a visa two years after your marriage.
