Help, please. I am dis-abled but prior to my dis-ability was financially productive. I have many assets and the ability to support my household. I own my home out right and have a healthy bank account and fair portfolio.... but my income will not meet 125% of guidelines. My filipina bride to be is a medical professional and wants to continue her work after marriage. I do have family and/or friends who would co -sign on my financials. Exactly what are my options and what will I need to do (in detail) to make our dreams come true? Thanks

Three dollars in liquid assets can be used to offset each dollar of income shortfall, so with no income at all you only need a little over $50k in liquid assets to meet the requirements.

"Liquid" is generally interpreted by Conoffs as liquidatable within 12 months but they understandably don't want to use your house, since if you had to liquidate it, where would you live. The fact it's free and clear is a positive though.

Unless your assets are far more than what is required, (and maybe anyway) I'd have another sponsor's affidavit available in addition to your own, just in case.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Thank you so much, I was not aware of the 3 for 1 rule regarding liquid assets/income. Where is that regulation? As for additional sponsor's affadavit of support.. exactly what needs to be submitted in addition to another I-134? Who is most acceptable in that role or does that part even matter? Is it overkill to do both and show the fiancees educational and professional experience and a job offer? Like everyone here we want so badly for everything to go smoothly the first time. Please site any appropriate regulations. Thanks again.

The fiancee's educational or professional experience or job offer is not important. In addition to another I-134, the additional sponsor includes the same sort of supporting documents the primary sponsor does. Follow the form instructions and guides for that.
